On July 19th, 2019, the Edmonton Journal posted an article written by Christal Loewen, CanGEA Policy Manager, highlighting how the recent TransMountain decision presents opportunities to the renewable energy sector. "It’s 2019. Canada’s energy sector is not a zero-sum game. Fossil fuels and renewable energy both have roles to play in Canada’s energy transition. The TMX offers an opportunity to use our vast supply of renewable energy and technology to bring Canadian oil to new markets, while accelerating the workforce’s transition into clean-energy jobs."
