This series will take CanGEA across the province, starting in Hinton on November 6, 2018. In each stop, basic geothermal knowledge will be delivered to the public and misconceptions of geothermal energy will be cleared up. After the presentation, there will be a Q&A with the public and a short presentation on how geothermal will impact the community in question (projects in the area, etc.). E3 Metals has begun the development of its field pilot plant which will incorporate E3’s proprietary concentration technology to further validate the lithium extraction component of the process flow sheet in the Leduc Reservoir in Alberta. More information can be found here: E3 Field Pilot Release

The town of Sussex, NB has recently completed a technical feasibility study to determine if the decommissioned and flooded Penobsquis Mine is a feasible source of geothermal energy. CanGEA is excited about this potential and supports them. More information can be found here: Sussex Study
