The 2018 federal budget was released on February 27, 2018 and included measures to extend one of CanGEA’s 2017 policy victories. The Accelerated Capital Cost Allowance, which geothermal projects are now eligible for has been extended to 2025. CanGEA acknowledges and thanks the government of Canada for extending this valuable program that geothermal developers are already benefitting from. February 27, 2018
