University of Victoria's Centre for Aerospace Research

There will be a guest speaker from the University of Victoria's Centre for Aerospace Research (CfAR), which specializes in the development of Unmanned Air Vehicles (UAV). The CfAR Director, Afzal Suleman, was recently named a tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Computational and Experimental Mechanics. Tier 1 researchers are world leaders in their fields. Dr. Suleman will be sending a representative to speak about the potential for technology transfer on his behalf. The Centre for Aerospace Research works closely with both industry and academic partners; they undertake cutting edge research in this field.
