Praxisforum is more a practical, industry-focused event. If you are looking for a more academic and technical event, check out the German Geothermal Congress 2017, also a subsidized CanGEA trip! Participants are responsible for booking their own registration and travel reservations. Subsidies will be distributed as a reimbursement. About"The two day event is a platform for the know-how exchange of the fastest developing geothermal market in Middle Europe. As there are so many plants in the vicinity of Munich, the event is closely related to practice with speakers giving first hand information about projects in development and operation. The Praxisforum is the ideal platform for networking to build up and refresh business contacts and to meet the decision makers of the Bavarian Geothermal Industry." The first day will feature 2 field trips. The first field trip will visit the wells and the heating plant Freiham, the most recent drilled project of the Stadtwerke München. The second target will be announced soon.
