GRC Annual Meeting and GEA Geothermal Expo 2014

3/31/2015

GRC Annual Meeting and GEA Geothermal Expo 2014
Portland, Oregon, USA

In September 2014, CanGEA also received Global Opportunities for Associations (GOA) program funding to send Canadian delegates to the GRC's Annual Meeting and GEA Geothermal Expo. Of the Canadians that attended the events, the feedback was excellent. It is obvious: this is a global geothermal event that you do not want to miss!

Participant Testimonials:

"The event provided an introduction to key contacts in Oregon and Canada. The real information was acquired in personal conversations with these individuals during the Klamath Falls Tour." (B2B participant)

"GRC Annual Meeting and GEA Expo are always the best venue to maintain relationships and contacts within the (geothermal) industry."

"I believe that I have made contacts that will be beneficial to my future business development."

"The events allowed us to introduce our firm and services to an international audience of potential buyers."

Market Visit to Klamath Falls Oregon

In addition to sending Canadian delegates to the GRC Annual Meeting and GEA Geothermal Expo, CanGEA also took delegates on a Market Visit Tour of Klamath Falls, Oregon. Participants were able to see first-hand projects that used geothermal heat directly for a variety of applications, including greenhouses, fish farms, a brewery, and a district heating system. Below are some videos we took while visiting!
