CONFERENCE ICE-BREAKER RECEPTION
Relax, you’re among industry friends! Have a drink and grab an appetizer, watch a geothermal energy video and get introduced to some the best minds in the geothermal industry. The ice-breaker is being held at the inspiring Hotel Le Germain in downtown Calgary. A gorgeous facility built with a state-of-the-art geoexchange design for all of the hotel’s eco-friendly heating and cooling needs.

We will be taking a special guided guest tour of the geoexchange operations, so make sure to meet in the lobby by 5:00pm to see this cool technology in action.

MAPPING & DATABASE WORKSHOP
The CanGEA Mapping & Database Workshop will offer a robust look at the recently produced Alberta Favourability Map and other global geothermal databases. Expert-led presentations on the CO2 North American Storage Atlas, NGDS – US National Geothermal Database System and the IGA Global Protocol and Reporting Code will help guide viewers on the technical challenges and the advantages to developing globally recognized maps for the geothermal Industry.

Canadian & Global Database/Mapping Initiatives
