The Stanford Geothermal Workshop (SGW) is a 3-day event hosted by the Doerr School of Sustainability from Stanford University. The website describes the goals of the events as:
"The goals of the conference are to bring together engineers, scientists and managers involved in geothermal reservoir studies and developments; provide a forum for the exchange of ideas on the exploration, development and use of geothermal resources; and to enable prompt and open reporting of progress. We strongly encourage all scientists and engineers involved in geothermal reservoir technology to attend the workshop."

Apply for a Registration Subsidy fee for Volcano, Geyser and Fumarole members. The Registration Subsidy is applicable to one person per Canadian-based company and will cover up to the indicated rate for your membership level for the meeting registration fee.
**Non-member companies may register, however non-profits, individuals or students are not eligible for the subsidy. |

CanGEA has been granted funding through the Global Opportunities for Associations (GOA) program for a registration subsidy for Canadian-based businesses in attendance. GOA funding is a membership perk and subsidized spots are limited.
Participants are responsible for booking their own workshop registration. Subsidies will be distributed as a reimbursement.
This subsidy will cover registration and travel-related expenses. However, if travel restriction change due to COVID-19, coverage of travel-related expenses is subjected to change.
