​In the meeting and in our submission, we emphasized the need for decarbonizing industrial processes that currently rely on combustion thermal energy, and that geothermal heat used as heat is more efficient than heat derived from electricity for low to moderate temperature industrial processes. We also commented on feasibility studies needed on water/air to air heat exchange and regulatory opportunities in Alberta and BC.
