CanGEA members have expressed the need for regulatory certainty. If this manual turns out to be simple best practices guide, that would be acceptable. However, the scenario of having to "re-do" pipelines due to changing regulations must be avoided. AER needs to be aware of the length, pressure and size of these pipelines - and assure industry that there will be no backtracking if it is determined that there will be no strict enforceable regulations or rules.
