On July 25th, 2019, the Government of Canada and CanGEA member, the Cumberland Energy Authority, announced that the concept and design phase of the Springhill Geothermal Industrial Park is funded and awarded. The concept design phase will be completed by a local engineering firm as awarded in an open request for proposals (RFP) process.
