CanGEA Successful Appearance before the Standing Committee on Natural Resources

CanGEA is pleased to announce that our appearance before the Standing Committee on Natural Resources was successful. The Committee was very receptive to the presentation delivered by CanGEA Chair, Alison Thompson.

The topic CanGEA was requested to address was, "the current state and future of national energy data in Canada." CanGEA's responses were focused on the existing gap with regard to geothermal energy data in Canada as well as the absence of federal funding available to support further studies.
