On July 2nd, 2019, Vanessa Ratjen, a writer and editor for The Narwal, released an article highlighting the absence of geothermal energy in Canada. Canada remains the only large nation on the ring of fire that has not realized its potential for geothermal energy. This is unsettling considering that the global industry is expected to grow to $9 billion in 2025 from $4 billion in 2018.
