Honourable Kathleen Ganley Meets with CanGEA Summer Interns

6/30/2017

June 30, 2017

Dear CanGEA Members,

On Thursday June 29, CanGEA’s offices were visited by the honourable Kathleen Ganley, Solicitor General, Minister of Justice and MLA for Calgary Buffalo.

Ms. Ganley met with the current cohort of students currently interning with CanGEA made possible though the Government of Alberta's subsidy program, STEP (Summer Temporary Employment Program). Ms. Ganley discussed with the interns their experiences with the program, how the program was incredibly beneficial, and how it may improve in the future.

Thank you Ms. Ganley for your enjoyable visit! The work our interns have accomplished within the geothermal industry because of STEP is an example of how beneficial the program is and we hope the program continues for students and the industry in the future.

Kind Regards,
Feras Obeid
