Feb 11, 2012New US DoE Induced Seismicity Protocol Released
At the 37th Stanford Geothermal Workshop the new US DoE Updated Induced Seismicity Protocol was released.
CanGEA believes EGS is an opportunity in Canada and if we do this here, we will be sure to follow the protocol. However, with that being said, CanGEA advocates for conventional and hot sedimentary aquifer and direct-use geothermal, all of which do not induce seismicity as an EGS project might.
