CanGEA has decided to open bidding for one additional project in their 2009 Program.
Proposal #33: Direct-Use Geothermal Opportunities in Canada
CanGEA requires a study to evaluate opportunities for direct-use geothermal projects in Canada. Direct-use geothermal implies a direct application for geothermal-sourced hot water in industrial processes requiring abundant heat (i.e. pasteurization and greenhouses). Project deliverables include a report which identifies areas conducive to direct-use geothermal in Canada and the respective industries it would benefit in those regions.
Preference will be given to bids received from CanGEA corporate members.
At their discretion, CanGEA reserves the right to not award the contract.
