CanGEA Board Memeber and Univeristy of Calgary ISEEE Senior Fellow Dr. Michal Moore will be a speaker at the “Turning Down the Heat on Climate Change” conference, April 28-29, in Banff (conference program attached). Registration deadline is this Thursday, April 24th.
This conference, which includes speakers from industry, government, non-governmental organizations and academia, is presented by the Canadian Prairie & Northern Section of the Air & Waste Management Association. Dr. Moore’s talk, “Climate Change Adaptation: The Forgotten Consequences for Business and Government,” is scheduled at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 29.

2008 CanGEA Annual General Meeting and Conference
The 2008 Canadian Geothermal Energy Association Annual General Meeting and Conference was a success! Thank you to the speakers as well as all attendees.
The highlights of the AGM include the passing of the new CanGEA by-laws as well as the selection of an official auditor. The 2008-2009 CanGEA Board of Directors were also elected. CanGEA is proud to announce the new 2008-2009 Board of Directors:
