Elizabeth Lappin, Ambassador Coordinator
Elizabeth Lappin is a Professional Geologist and rigorous optimist, passionate about the natural fit between the oil and gas and geothermal sectors. After receiving her BSc. (Hons) from UBC in 2004, Elizabeth worked for a large E&P in Calgary for over 12 years, gaining experience across a wide spectrum of play types and hydrocarbon extraction methods.
Elizabeth started Castle Rock Consulting Ltd. in 2016, which provides clients with geological solutions in both the Oil and Gas and Geothermal industries. Through her volunteer work with the Canadian Geothermal Energy Association (CanGEA) as Geothermal Ambassador Coordinator, Elizabeth is working with CanGEA's volunteers to help unearth and showcase geothermal as a viable heat energy and power resource for Canada’s energy mix.
