Geothermal energy is an important part of Canada’s energy future, creating new investment and jobs in Canadian communities while also contributing to a cleaner environment for future generations. CanGEA is proud to be able to bring together industry operators, policy makers and researchers alike for our Geothermal Investment Workshop and Networking Reception Dec. 3, 2009. The conference is to be held at The Westin Calgary, right in the heart of downtown Calgary, Alberta.
This is going to be a great opportunity to hear about some of the projects, companies and R&D in the high temperature geothermal energy industry in Canada. Meet the leading industry players, investment banks and companies involved in geothermal projects locally and worldwide.
CanGEA is a national, not for profit association that works on behalf of our members to facilitate and promote the responsible and sustainable growth of high temperature geothermal energy in Canada which, we believe, can provide competitive, emissions free, renewable, base-load energy to Canadians and export markets.
